Welcome to Mavaro Systems! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our productivity software and related services. We're committed to building technology that supports your well-being and success.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing our services, or using any part of our software, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

Who These Terms Apply To

  • Individual Users: Personal use of SquadUp and HausFlow
  • Business Users: Organizational use of TempoSuite and other business services
  • Trial Users: Users accessing trial or free versions of our services

Age Requirements

You must be at least 13 years old to use our services. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use our services.

2. Description of Services

Our Products

Mavaro Systems provides cloud-based productivity software designed to help individuals, families, and organizations achieve their goals through human-centered design and ethical technology practices.

SquadUp

Personal productivity application focusing on habit building and emotional intelligence

  • Individual task and habit management
  • Progress tracking and behavioral insights
  • Integration with calendar and productivity tools

TempoSuite

Business productivity platform for teams and organizations

  • Project management and team collaboration
  • Workflow automation and process optimization
  • Analytics and reporting for organizational productivity

HausFlow

Family and household task management application

  • Shared task and chore management
  • Family calendar and event coordination
  • Shopping lists and household organization

Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable, high-quality service but cannot guarantee 100% uptime. We may occasionally perform maintenance, updates, or experience technical difficulties that temporarily affect service availability.

3. User Accounts and Responsibilities

Account Creation

When you create an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain and update your account information
  • Keep your login credentials secure and confidential
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

Account Security

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • Immediately notifying us of any unauthorized use
  • Using strong passwords and enabling two-factor authentication when available
  • Regularly reviewing your account for any suspicious activity

  • Upload malicious code or attempt to compromise security

4. Subscription and Billing

Subscription Plans

We offer various subscription plans with different features and pricing:

  • Free Tier: Basic functionality with limitations
  • Premium Plans: Enhanced features for individual users
  • Business Plans: Advanced features for teams and organizations
  • Enterprise Plans: Custom solutions for large organizations

Billing and Payment

  • Payment Terms: Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
  • Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
  • Price Changes: We may change our pricing with 30 days advance notice

Cancellation and Refunds

  • Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings
  • Refund Policy: We offer prorated refunds for annual subscriptions cancelled within 30 days
  • Effect of Cancellation: You retain access to paid features until the end of your billing period
  • Data Retention: We retain your data for 90 days after cancellation for potential reactivation

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use our services in accordance with these Terms. This license is conditional on your continued compliance with these Terms.

  • Uptime: 99.9% monthly uptime excluding planned maintenance
  • Response Time: 95% of requests under 200ms response time
  • Support: Customer support during business hours with reasonable response times

Planned Maintenance

  • Notification: We provide advance notice of planned maintenance
  • Timing: Maintenance is scheduled during low-traffic periods when possible
  • Duration: We minimize maintenance windows and complete work efficiently

Service Credits

If we fail to meet our service level commitments, you may be eligible for service credits:

  • 99.0% to 99.8% uptime: 10% monthly service credit
  • 95.0% to 98.9% uptime: 25% monthly service credit
  • Below 95.0% uptime: 50% monthly service credit

8. User Content and Responsibility

Content Guidelines

You are responsible for content you create, upload, or share using our services:

  • Accuracy: Ensure information you provide is accurate and current
  • Appropriate Content: Do not upload illegal, harmful, or inappropriate content
  • Respect: Respect the rights and privacy of others
  • Compliance: Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

Content Moderation

We reserve the right to:

  • Remove content that violates these Terms
  • Suspend accounts that repeatedly violate content guidelines
  • Report illegal content to appropriate authorities
  • Cooperate with law enforcement requests when legally required

Data Backup

While we implement robust backup systems, we recommend you:

  • Regularly export important data
  • Maintain your own backups of critical information
  • Understand our data retention and deletion policies

  • No Warranty: We do not warrant that our services will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • Fitness for Purpose: You use our services at your own risk and discretion
  • Third-Party Content: We are not responsible for third-party content or integrations

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Indirect Damages: We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Liability Cap: Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim
  • Essential Purpose: These limitations are fundamental elements of our agreement

Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures due to circumstances beyond our control:

  • Natural disasters, acts of government, network failures
  • Labor disputes, supply chain disruptions, or other emergency situations

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising from:

  • Your use of our services in violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any laws or third-party rights
  • Content you create, upload, or share through our services
  • Your breach of representations or warranties

13. Dispute Resolution
